Dr. Swaminathan Ramesh obtained US Patent 7,531,703, "Method of Recycling a Recyclable Platic", in 2009 which teaches ways to obtain product specific fuels in high yields using metallocene catalysts dispersed on molecular sieve supports.

Further research showed better ways to perform recycling under milder and economically viable condition using unique nano-catalysts and novel heating techniques.

Global Energy Conversions (GEC) has obtained a provisional patent "Customized catalysts and application apparatus for deploymerization reactions" in December 2011. We will be filing for two utility patents (US and International) by the end of 2012. These patents will give us a very strong IP protection and freedom to practice our art.
